Luke Kerstetter of Seymour, Tennessee, won the BFL Volunteer Division finale at Watts Bar Lake with nine bass totaling 29 pounds, 4 ounces across two days, Major League Fishing reported September 21.
John Murray finished second with 26-8, and Zachary Francis placed third with 26-0. Kerstetter’s reported winning payout was $3,110.
In MLF’s account, Kerstetter described targeting shad around grass ditches and looking for additional water after a strong opening morning. Kujo Hammel won the co-angler division with 13-15.
